Life on the road

We didn't take a break.
We took a permanent hiatus.

This is the log. The RV, the miles, the wrong turns that turned into the best days. Welcome to full-time road life.

The map got a lot bigger once we stopped commuting.

We sold the furniture, rented out the house, and pointed the RV west. That was the plan. The reality has been messier, slower, and better than anything we sketched on a napkin.

Permanent Hiatus is our running record of the trip — every campground, every national park, every small-town diner that turned out to be the best meal of the year. If you're curious about full-time RV life, or just want to ride along from your couch, pull up a chair.
